Born in Brooklyn…

Blooming on the Hudson!

Hi! I’m Karina — an architectural designer turned florist and the creative force behind Dean Street Daisies. What began as a simple way to bring color and nature into my Brooklyn apartment on Dean Street has since blossomed into a full-service floral and event design studio along the Hudson.

Today, I live and create in a converted chapel in Irvington, NY with my husband and two cats, crafting garden-inspired designs and weddings that are as unique and memorable as the people they celebrate.

our perspective

An architectural eye for floral composition.

At Dean Street Daisies, every arrangement begins with two commitments: artistry and sustainability. As a New York luxury floral design studio, we believe flowers are more than décor — they are a way of telling your story. Whether for a wedding, corporate event, or private celebration, our florals express love, personality, and the moments that matter most.

Led by Karina — with a degree in architecture and certification in event design from Flower School New York — our studio brings a designer’s eye to floral composition. We blend form, color, and texture to create arrangements that feel intentional, elegant, and unforgettable.

Sustainability is built into everything we do: sourcing seasonal and local flowers, choosing reusable vessels, and never using harmful materials like floral foam. This ensures that your celebration is not only beautiful, but also environmentally friendly.

Just as important is our high-touch, client-focused process. From the first consultation to final installation, we collaborate closely — creating sketches, digital mockups, and detailed design presentations. Every detail is considered, so your flowers feel deeply personal, artfully tailored, and truly one-of-a-kind.

01. Kitty Assistants

Our two furry managers, Taupie and Topsy, supervise every stem — quality control is serious business around here.

02. Chapel Studio

Our work space is tucked inside a converted chapel — complete with stained glass, creaky floors, and plenty of character to keep us inspired!

03. California Grown

Before flowers, there were redwoods — Karina grew up in the Bay Area and married her best friend, Bradley, beneath the towering beauty of the coastal forest.
